About the job

Reporting directly to ITJ’s Chief Commercial Officer, you will join an energetic and dynamic team to join our dynamic team, focusing on selling digital innovation services to life science, healthcare, and other industry companies looking to build and scale software engineering teams across DevOps, R&D, IT, Cloud, Mobile and other initiatives that require agile scrum team resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of C-level relationships, a proven track record of closing multimillion-dollar, multi-year contracts, and natively understand how to articulate our value proposition to empower customers’ digital transformation and innovation journeys. This position requires someone with a strong ownership mindset, self-driven and capable of producing with little management supervision.

What will you do?

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the life sciences and other target industries.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, leveraging your network and industry knowledge.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and needs assessment to negotiation and contract closure.
  1. Client Relationship Management
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and presenting tailored digital innovation solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.

3. Market and Industry Expertise:

  • Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to effectively position our services.
  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams on market opportunities and client needs.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build brand awareness and generate leads.

4. Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely across commercial team including, commercial operations, business development, marketing, talent acquisition and engineering to ensure alignment and support for sales activities.
  • Collaborate with peers and marketing to leverage our collective strengths teams to understand service capabilities and deliver compelling proposals to clients.
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.

5. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industry or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in selling to new and existing customers, with a focus on selling digital innovation services, software engineering, and agile scrum team resources.
  • Extensive network of C-level relationships within the life sciences and other relevant industries.
  • Proven track record of closing multimillion-dollar, multi-year contracts.
  • Knowledge of how to identify and articulate customer need.
  • Understanding of digital transformation, software engineering, and agile methodologies strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to client sites, company meetings, and industry events as required.
  • Work within Life Sciences, Healthcare, Software Engineering, and/or advisory services is preferred.
  • B2B technology experience is helpful.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is ideal.
