Holding a Doctorate of Science from CITEDI-IPN, he has contributed extensively to the field through publications in prestigious journals and conferences, including IEEE and Springer, with over 40 citations.
 Katherynne Plessmann is a data science researcher, with experience in software quality. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Information and Communication Technology Management. Additionally, she teaches Project Management in the Business Intelligence undergraduate program at the Autonomous University of Baja California. On the first day of the Python course, we will start by introducing the goals and structure of the course, followed by a brief overview of Python's history and evolution. Participants will then be guided through the essential resources we use throughout the course, ensuring everyone is equipped for learning. We will cover how to install and set up Python on different systems, as well as introduce pip, Python's package manager. The session will dive into the fundamentals of Python syntax, including variables, expressions, and statements. Finally, we will explore conditional execution and basic functions, setting a solid foundation for understanding Python's core capabilities.

Day 1: Getting Started with Python - History, Setup, and Basic Syntax

On the second day of the Python course, we will dive deeper into key programming concepts, starting with iteration techniques, including loops and how to work with strings. We'll explore regular expressions (Regex) for pattern matching, and learn about fundamental data structures like lists, dictionaries, tuples, and sets. The session will also introduce functional programming concepts through the use of filter, map, and reduce functions. We'll cover file management for reading and writing files, and begin a foundational exploration of object-oriented programming (OOP). Finally, we'll discuss variable scope and work with enums, giving participants a more comprehensive understanding of Python's flexibility and power.

Day 2: Python Programming Deep Dive - Loops, Data Structures, and Functional Programming

On the third day of the Python course, we'll begin by covering exception handling, a critical concept for managing errors gracefully in Python applications. Then, we'll introduce the Counter class for counting elements efficiently, and explore the datetime module for working with dates and times. The session will also include consuming web services, where participants will learn how to interact with APIs and external data sources. Finally, we'll dive into concurrency, parallelism, and multiprocessing, providing a solid understanding of how to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and improve performance in Python programs.
