He has led AI teams and developed proof-of-concept solutions across sectors like healthcare, retail, automotive, and manufacturing. Currently working in semiconductor imaging, he also teaches courses on GenAI, helping professionals apply emerging technologies with creativity and purpose.

 Morgan Appel is Assistant Dean for Education at UC San Diego's Division of Extended Studies, leading global programs in English and Spanish. He specializes in gifted education, neuroscience of learning, and education policy, with experience across the U.S. and Latin America. Appel teaches at UC San Diego and UC Irvine, hosts Creative Conversations on UCTV, and serves on several nonprofit boards. In 2023, he was named California lead educator by the Robert F.
