The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in sourcing and attracting diverse talent to support our company's growth and success. This entails building pipelines of talent, and developing innovative strategies for attracting candidates through networking, cold calling, internet searches, and research. Collaborating closely with other members of the recruiting team to fulfill individual and team goals.

What will you do?

You’ll make a significant impact by driving the company's talent acquisition strategy, ensuring the recruitment of diverse teams, supporting organizational growth objectives, enhancing the employer brand, and ultimately contributing to improved organizational performance.

  • Attract and recruit the best IT Talent Professionals in Mexico and Latin America.
  • In this position you will be a member of the Talent Acquisition team working alongside other fellow recruiters. The Talent Acquisition team will own the hiring life cycle for their clients: job posting, sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and coordinating hiring events.
  • Running the Recruitment and Selection process at ITJ. Owning monthly, quarterly, and yearly Talent Acquisition OKRs (goals).
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates to deliver against immediate priorities, future needs, and business-critical positions that are routinely filled throughout the year.
  • Partner with recruiters to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process.
  • Cultivate relationships with targeted/key candidates and specific talent pools and maintain those relationships with an ongoing focus.
  • Screen candidates about basic qualifications to forward viable candidates to Hiring Managers.
  • Report on/maintain internal Applicant Tracking System data with candidate information.
  • Report on/maintain Google Sheets files shared with clients about candidate’s information for their review.
  • Work with various functional areas by understanding hiring needs, position specifications and search.
  • Actively sourcing for passive candidates through various talent portals (Social Media, LinkedIn, Indeed, GlassDoor, OCC, etc)
  • Update job postings through various career portals (LinkedIn, Indeed, GlassDoor, OCC, etc).
  • Work with Google Workspace programs (Gmail, Google sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Forms, etc).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Communications or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a similar position (ie. IT Recruiter, Technical Recruiter, IT Talent Acquisition Specialist, IT Recruitment Consultant, IT Headhunter, etc.)
  • Medical Device industry experience is a plus.
  • Hands on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective engagement across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to thrive as a team player in dynamic, fast-paced environments, adept at managing multiple competing tasks and priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in both Spanish and English, with a focus on effective presentation.
  • Effective organization, planning, and time management abilities are crucial for achieving targeted outcomes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional ethics, with a steadfast dedication to integrity.
  • Accountable for achieving goals and upholding standards, exhibiting self-driven initiative.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the IT Industry, encompassing diverse roles, technologies, programming languages, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in leveraging career portals such as LinkedIn, Indeed, GlassDoor, or similar platforms.
  • Competence in utilizing productivity suites such as Google Suite or Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Monday, Trello, Zoho, or equivalents, facilitating streamlined workflow and client management.
  • Extensive experience in competency-based interviewing methodologies, particularly the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) approach.
