The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will build and evolve some internal applications across the user experience, APIs, workflow logic, access controls, auditability, and production support. This role will work as part of the dedicated ITJ TechOps product-development team and partner directly with Stability stakeholders and the product manager.

• Build the web application experience for portfolio visibility, stability programs, studies, lots, time points, results, reviews, deviations, inventory, and action items.
• Design and implement APIs and application services supporting internal applications workflows.
• Implement operational workflows for scheduled time points, vendor-report receipt, overdue tracking, AD Lead review, Stability Lead countersignature, result entry, result locking, deviations, and follow-up activities.
• Enforce role-based access for Stability Lead, AD Lead, QA, Regulatory, and View Only users, including program-level access restrictions.
• Build clear status indicators and user experiences for overdue, in-window, received, reviewed, and completed work.
• Implement audit history for changes to stability data and operational workflow information.
• Support CSV exports for portfolio and program-level data.
• Integrate vendor-report extraction results into a human-review workflow; extracted values must not be saved automatically and AI must not approve or lock scientific results.
• Build automated tests and contribute to requirements traceability, regression testing, release acceptance, and production readiness with the QA Engineer.
• Establish reliable development, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support practices with the ITJ team.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, design discussions, code reviews, release planning, and stakeholder demonstrations.
• Document application behavior and transfer knowledge so the team can maintain and extend Stability Hub after the initial roadmap.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
• Strong experience building both frontend (JavaScript - React / Python) user experiences and backend APIs or services. 
• Experience with modern web application development, relational data, authentication, authorization, and automated testing.
• Experience with source control, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD deployment, and production support.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business workflows into clear application behavior and maintainable software.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business users, scientific stakeholders, product managers, data engineers, QA, and IT platform teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms. 
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure
• Experience with Python, React, REST APIs, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience building workflow-oriented business applications with role-based access and audit trails.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, CMC, analytical development, or other life-sciences environments.
• Familiarity with non-GxP/GxP boundaries and the need to keep authoritative records in designated systems of record.
• Experience delivering an MVP quickly and then iterating through a longer product roadmap.
