About the job

A highly skilled Microsoft 365 Support Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft cloud services, including Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and OneDrive. 

Proven experience with Microsoft Intune administration is required (MUST).

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of Office 365. 

What will you do?

  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, & Intune, etc. 
  • Manage user access, licenses, permissions, and security configurations.
  • Provide status updates and closure notes to end users.
  • Manage Office 365 support calls with Microsoft as needed.
  • Monitor health and performance using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell.
  • Implement and enforce security policies following the change management process
  • Provide Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365 issues and service requests
  • Stay informed on Microsoft roadmap changes and drive feature adoption
  • Alert the IT team when outages affect the tenant
  • Develop user training and maintain documentation for Microsoft 365, including Intune
  • Act as a liaison between end users, vendors, and internal teams as needed.
  • Engage regularly with client stakeholders.
  • Perform routine maintenance and support in hybrid and cloud-based Microsoft environments.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Proven experience managing Microsoft 365 core services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Hands-on administration and support experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory and cloud identity management
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • High level of self-motivation, energy, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical client stakeholders
  • Experience in a managed services or client-facing support environment
  • Flexible work scheduled, rotations, etc.
  • Microsoft 365 administrator certifications
  • Familiarity with hybrid Microsoft environments and directory sync
  • Previous exposure to IT project planning and coordination across teams
  • Active directory administration, SailPoint - IAM, nice to have
  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
