The Clinical Analyst – Beaker is responsible for the configuration, implementation, maintenance, and support of the Epic Beaker application. This role ensures that laboratory workflows and clinical data exchange function efficiently and securely across the healthcare organization. 

The analyst collaborates with clinical, laboratory, and IT teams to gather requirements, design solutions, test system changes, and provide user support to maintain optimal performance and regulatory compliance. 

What will you do?

  • Configure and maintain Laboratory Information System module.
  • Work with clinical and laboratory stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations or workflow solutions. 
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams to test, validate, and implement new builds, upgrades, or enhancements. 
  • Support laboratory workflows, specimen tracking, and result reporting processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to orders, interfaces, and result delivery.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, workflows, and support procedures. 
  • Collaborate with other application teams to ensure integration and interoperability across modules. 
  • Provide end-user support, training, and ongoing optimization to improve clinical efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Information Systems, Medical Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 
  • 0-2+ years of experience supporting or working with clinical systems or laboratory information systems. 
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows or laboratory operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience in laboratory or clinical operational environment and knowledge of test ordering and result management. 
  • Experience with system configuration, validation, and testing processes.
  • Understanding of clinical informatics and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CLIA). 
  • On-site position, collaborating with clinical, IT, and laboratory teams.
  • Travel is required for certification training, client site visits, and project-related activities. 
  • Valid passport and visa are required for travel to training sessions or client engagements. 
  • May require participation in off-hours support and system maintenance windows.
