About this event

The ITJ Talent Team is organizing a Free Bootcamp to initiate participants in the journey to continue your learning experience as Full Stack Developer with the MERN stack.

Learning objective

• Gain the skills to become a Full Stack Engineer
• Learn how Web Apps work
• Learn how to build cloud-native applications with Node and React
• Learn about data persistence with NoSQL databases
• Connect with experienced Full Stack Engineers to learn, have fun, and increase your professional network

To be prepared to take the two weeks Bootcamp, you have to set up your laptop/PC with the right tools; you will receive the instructions on your email registered one week before the first day of the Bootcamp.

Also, you will receive reading materials to get familiar with the concepts and the project to be built during all the sessions.

• React with NextJS
• Testing the Front-end
• Working with ExpressJS
• Creating the REST APIs and Data Persistance
• Testing the Back-end
• Integrating React App with the Rest API
• Automated Deployment (CI/CD)

What does this Bootcamp involve?

• 12 days of training. 2.5 hours each day
• Dates: Weekdays (Mo-Fr) from Monday, May 8 to Tuesday, May 23
• Time: 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. (pacific time) each day

Prerequisites

• Proficient with HTML and CSS
• Experience working with JavaScript
• Experience with Data Persistence
• Experience with GIT
• VS Code
• Experience developing Web Applications

Target Audience

This event is for professionals and students in the last semester of their careers, like Computer Engineering and Software Engineering, who want to start the journey as Full Stack Engineers.
