About this event

The ITJuana Talent Team is organizing a Free Bootcamp to initiate participants in the journey to become a DevOps Engineer. This event is certified by the University of California San Diego (UCSD) - Division of Extended Studies.

Learning objective

• Gain the skills to become a DevOps Engineer
• Understand the best practices for creating CI/CD Pipelines, Manage Configurations, Security, Monitoring, and more
• Learn about the newest technology in the DevOps world
• Connect with experienced DevOps Engineers and increase your professional network

For you to be prepared to take the three weeks Bootcamp, you have to set up your laptop/PC with the tools; you will receive the instructions on your email registered one week before the first day of the Bootcamp.

Also, you will receive reading materials to get familiar with the concepts and the project to be built during all the sessions.

What does this Bootcamp involve?

• Two weeks of training
• Dates: from March 27 to April 10
• Days: Monday to Friday each week
• Time: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (pacific time) each day
• Note: April 7 is holiday and there will be no class that day

Prerequisites

• Be familiar with GIT, Repos, branching and merging
• Git Installer
• Github account preferred
• VS Code
• Familiar with a programming language - Java, C#, Python, Ruby, and other
• Familiar with using command line tools
• Docker desktop installed

Target Audience

This event is for professionals and students in their last semester of careers like Computers Engineering, Software Engineering, who wanted to start the journey as a DevOps Engineer.
