About the job

The Associate Salesforce Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem to support ITJ’s products and platforms. This role is responsible for writing clean, efficient code (Apex, LWC), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering robust, well-architected solutions.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy maintainable code and configurations within the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical Salesforce designs.
  • Contribute to the full SDLC, from initial technical design through production deployment.
  • Ensure system reliability by writing unit tests (Apex Tests) and participating in code review sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
  • Work with DevOps and QA to integrate Salesforce solutions into CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in a Software Engineer role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Expertise in at least one front-end language (React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
